Terms
These terms cover using this website and summarise both managed services and outright website purchases. The applicable full agreement, including the chosen scope and price, is presented before signing and payment.
The managed website service in brief
- A monthly price for your plan and any extras you choose, with no build fee.
- Your monthly fee isn't taken until your website goes live. Payments are by Direct Debit.
- We build in stages: we confirm your brief, show you a design, then a working preview. Two rounds of changes on the design and one on the preview are included, and we launch only when you approve.
- Because there's no build fee, if you decide not to go ahead before launch a fixed stage fee applies for the work done so far. The fees for each plan are in the agreement.
- A 12-month minimum term from launch. After that it runs month to month: you can leave any time, and it ends at the end of the month you have paid for.
- Anything outside your plan or brief is quoted and agreed before we do the work.
- If something isn't right, tell us through your account and we'll reply within 5 working days. The agreement sets out how we resolve disagreements, including mediation before court.
- Your domain name and your content are always yours. You can buy the website itself, or leave without it; the costs of each are set out in the agreement and shown in your account at any time.
The full agreement is shown to you before you sign, and a copy stays in your account. Where this summary and the agreement differ, the agreement applies.
Buying a website outright
- Standard packages and their page and revision allowances are displayed on our pricing page. Your signed order confirms the actual agreed scope, price and selected extras.
- The standard deposit is 20%, with the balance payable at the agreed completion milestone. Deposits are not automatically non-refundable; cancellation rights and any lawful deductions depend on the circumstances and the signed agreement.
- We show the estimated first-draft period before ordering. It starts when the agreement is signed, the required payment has cleared and essential content has been supplied.
- An outright purchase does not include hosting, ongoing SEO, maintenance or future changes unless separately selected and paid for.
- After the agreed final payment clears, the customer receives the agreed website source files and a handover guide explaining how to deploy the actual project. Third-party software, hosting, domains and database services may have their own costs and terms.
- Source handover excludes passwords, private keys and other secrets. Any necessary access is transferred through secure channels.
- For consumers, applicable statutory cancellation and digital-content rights are explained before purchase. Nothing here overrides mandatory consumer protections.
Using this website
- Please give accurate information when you order, and keep your sign-in details private.
- Don't try to access other customers' information, interfere with the website, or upload anything unlawful or that you don't have the right to use.
- Prices and descriptions on this website can change. The price that applies to you is the one in the agreement you sign.
